Hi! My name is Ella Ho-Kaplan and I am Ladner's newest kid-trepeneur. 

Why Scrunchies?  My  passion for scrunchie making started with my  love for donuts and sewing.  I've always loved the idea of a home grown business and was excited to make it happen.  Ella’s Super Scrunchies began February 2020 before the COVID Pandemic.  My parents and I went to Seattle to celebrate my birthday and on our road trip, we came up with the idea of Ella’s Super Scrunchies and our slogan, "Donuts for your hair!". 

We purchased a lot of fabric and started planning our new business as we were invited to Emma Lea Farms last Spring as a mini-maker, but unfortunately it was cancelled due to the Pandemic.

After a short hiatus, we were happy to once again convert our dining room into a Scrunchie making factory.  We were once again invited to Emma Lea Farms' where we debuted our Spring 2021 collection on May 8th 2021.  Thanks to amazing support from our community, friends and family, we quickly sold out of many different flavors of Scrunchies!

We have now made Scrunchies a full-time part-time business and we are excited to sell Scrunchies at future market events and online. Each Scrunchie is hand-made and machine crafted with fun prints the whole family can enjoy.
